Dear Miss Blue,
Your letter arrived this very day and I must admit that I am befuddled with the story of Paisley and her happy but noisy afternoon there at your house. The picture of Paisley in her darling little white voile dress with the dainty velvet bow at the bodice shouting with exuberance that only a little child could feel is very nice and should be appreciated. How sad that Louise found the pig false face from those long ago times when the Pig face ruined my French Doll Suit that Halloween in 1929. Quite unforgivable of Louise, really, shame on Louise! I hope Paisley will still love the Story of the Three Little Pigs, and not be confused with the Pig False Face - not at all cute and meant to scare away the goblins and witches of the Halloween Night.
Well, now, Miss Blue, please write again soon. I am rather house bound these days and always look forward to news from your house so far away from the Lanterns.
Love, Pearl
