Dear Miss Blue,

Something tells me that you have not heard of the uprising here in the village. So I will gather up every bit of information that I can find in order to explain it all. Firstly, there is talk of a new business right here on the main drag, Main Street of course. The business will feature Spinning Wheels, antique and modern, along with an additional shop in the rear of the store to house several sheep. A class in Shearing is offered, also carding and dyeing. An area just outside the village will be leased so that the sheep can graze and then brought through the streets of the village to the Shop of Spinning Wheels, and Other Like Things (that is the name of the shop). Flyers are posted on the bulletin boards, by the Liquor Store and other specialty shops.

Dyeing is especially interesting, using natural colors, examples: yellow onion skins (I have a few of those, having just put up my famous Green Tomato Relish) Goldenrod, and Yarrow to name a few. All of this I found out when I talked tothe owners of the Spinning Wheel Store, Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, an odd pair, I dare say, awkward and shy, I was glad to say adieu; assuring them, all the while of my good wishes for a long stay in theVillage. It is possible that many of the stay at home older folk might just love spinning and dyeing, That will be helpful of course, although at the same time Sheep and Spinning Wheels among the super wealthy citizens in our Village will cause the property values toTumble!

Well, Miss Blue, I must be off to settle down with my Spinning Wheel here on my porch. I must card, and wash and spin for a while.
